There are about 44,000 journals in the Scopus database and more than 24,000 in the Web of Science database. Each journal has its own requirements and style. Our team has already submitted more than 1000 articles to various Scopus and WoS journals. We have also practiced submitting an article to a journal without formalization. We have come to the following conclusions: the editorial board may consider the receipt of an unformatted article as a non-serious attitude of the authors to their requirements. What decision can the editorial board make if it receives an unformatted or poorly formatted article? In 70% of cases the editorial board may refuse to consider the article for publication, return the article for processing in 25% of cases, and only 5% of undemanding low-rated journals accept the article for consideration.
